Uninterruptible Power Supply: the new technologies of AEC
Thanks to continuous investments in R&D, in 2018 the AEC Group was recognized as one of the major innovators in the power electronics sector.
The new revolutionary technologies have been implemented in our new Series of three-phase UPS with modular design: IST7, with power capacity ranging from 10kVA up to 200kVA.

Three-phase online UPS 10-200kVA
The IST7 series three-phase UPS use advanced 3-level inverter technology and digital technology for complete interconnection with great advantages such as high efficiency, high power density and occupy only a small amount of floor space.
High power density, 200kW and occupies only 0.54 square meters of area; saves a lot of space in the client's server room while having an ecological design. It uses the latest 3-level IGBT rectifier technology and its input power factor approaches the unit's power factor with an overall improved energy efficiency up to 96%.
With a power factor of 1, significant savings are achieved on energy consumption and equipment investment costs, increasing cost effectiveness.
The IST7 series of three-phase UPS units allows a 100% unbalanced three-phase load, eliminating the need for re-distribution of the loads already existing on the system.
Thanks to the modular design and the flexibility of the entire AEC UPS system, it is possible to expand the power capacity directly on-site without the need for PC and expensive specialised software.
In fact the 50kW UPS produced by AEC can be upgraded up to 120kW without having to move or switch off the UPS system. The modular design also allows faster and safer maintenance.
In 80% of the cases, the specialized team of AEC, is able to repair and restart the ups system without the need to remove or turn off continuity to the loads. The replacement of the power module of the IST7 UPS has never been so easy and fast, the average replacement time of the defective component is less than 30 minutes, reducing by almost 50% any repair and maintenance costs.
Adopting the advanced fully computerized display, the IST7 series UPSs are fully contrallable and settable from the screen directly on customer’s site.
AEC UPS IST7 series takes care of everything: the new self-cleaning mode periodically expels all the dust from the power module, in order to reduce by more than 30% the risk of breakdowns of the internal components of the modules due to dust corrosion.
The automatic de-dusting mode can be set daily, weekly or periodically at the user's discretion.
